I got the Mr. Beer Complete Home Brew Makin Kit real fast in a nice big box. Me and Mike my neighboor and bourbon drinking buddy went to work. The Brew Keg was easy to put the spout in. The kit comes with a little package of sterilining stuff you mix half of it in the keg with hot water. Put all the utensile like a mixing spoon in there too leave it sit for one bourbon (about 10 minutes).
followed directions and mixed everything up and pored it into the keg let it sit in my upstairs bathroom for 2 weeks. We bottled it on Sat last week. The stuff tasted like flat beer. We put 2 spoons of sugar in each sterilized bottle( you use the rest of the little pack of sterilizing stuff to sterlize the 8 1 quart bottles and caps before bottling. and the surgar added at bottling kicks off the carbonination phase. The bottles are sitting on the floor in the basement now and we will open one for test after I get back from Texas next week. I'll let you know how it tastes.
